About Blair

I am deeply committed to three things in my life: my faith, my family, and my job.

"I have been interested in doing hair since I was a little girl, but I became licensed in 2008. At the start of my career, I had to travel an hour and a half each way to attend a training academy. That's when I realized that doing hair is much more complex than what I had learned in Cosmetology School."

I spent six months digging deep into the history of haircutting, styling, and coloring. When I graduated from this program, I felt I had the education it takes to give anyone whatever they desire when it comes to their hair! But it still wasn't enough for me. I still wanted more. So, let me give you a quick timeline of the path that led me to where I am today.

2017 Move home and sold my salon in Colorado

2018 Build Blair Derry Salon in Waverly, MN

After fifteen years of educating myself and always striving for the next best thing in the Cosmetology industry, I am so excited to make the final move in my career and lay down some deep roots in the place I call home. Since returning home, my family has grown with the addition of three handsome boys and a puppy we love to pieces, Luna!

I am committed to bringing Waverly a beautiful, relaxing, professional space for all your hair care needs. I will continue to learn all the cutting-edge trends and techniques.

Blair Derry Salon is located just 2 miles South of Holiday Gas station on County Rd 8. My husband and I have custom-built a stand-alone building on my property, which is the home of Blair Derry Salon. It is truly the salon of my dreams, and I can’t wait to share the luxury with all of you!
